The 33rd annual competition was held on the campus of the University of Virginia's College at Wise in the David J. Prior Convocation Center. Congratulations to Kentucky team, Alden Resources for taking first place. Virginia team Paramont Contura was named the 2019 Virginia Governor's Cup Mine Rescue Champions.
