The Birchfield Landslide #AbandonedMineLand project in Wise County was caused by historic mining. Using $113,000 from the #AMLfund DMME was able to stabilize the slide to protect nearby residents and remove debris from nearly 700 feet of a stream. #ourworksnotdone #SMCRA77
